A Life Called to Ministry
Reverend Antonio Reaves was born and raised in Denmark, Tennessee. He graduated from South Side High School in Jackson, Tennessee. Reverend Reaves answered his call to the ministry in February 2012, serving as an associate minister under the leadership of Pastor Tommie Woods, Sr. at Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Denmark, Tennessee.
Reverend Reaves preached his first sermon on April 15, 2012 and was ordained on December 8, 2013. He went on to graduate from American Baptist Seminary College, Jackson, Tennessee Extension, where he earned his Degree in Christian Leadership.
In 2015, Reverend Reaves was elected as Pastor of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Bells, Tennessee, where he served for 10 years. Ministry shaped his pastoral philosophy: a deep commitment to religious education, pastoral counseling, and program development.
On September 30, 2025, Reverend Reaves was elected Pastor of the Denmark Missionary Baptist Church in Denmark, Tennessee. He preached his first sermon as pastor on Sunday, November 2, 2025. His ability to teach and preach has carried him across the State of Tennessee and beyond. His main objective is spreading the Word of God and praying that God’s Word will point people to Christ.

Family & Faith
A Devoted Family Man
Beyond the pulpit, Reverend Reaves is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is happily married to Mrs. Christine Watkins Reaves, and together they have four children and six grandchildren. Family is the living testimony of his faith in action.
